Don't worry guys, the PS4 will be the first console in NPD history to post a negative number for the month of November, that coupled with the Xbox One's one million sellthru will mean that the gap will close. In all honesty, if the PS4 is boat raced in November they will have a compelling offer for December, it will be a makeshift bundle but something to move the chains.

December: a wash with slight edge to the Xbox

Thats the xone wireless controller. The Xbox one has SKU's at 51 and 52 and 98 whereas the PS4 is 4 and 28. The One at 98 is the base model which has not shifted in the last week from 98 even with the daily sales charts pike which puts the actual amount here into context when trying to jump the gun based on 3 days of sales.

And on another note: I think this whole thing will backfire at Microsoft. They get a short sales spike, sure. But if they really are to push the price up again after the holidays, even less people will buy the console. Also, they make the Xbox look cheaper than the PS4. Now every consumer can see it, the PS4 is more expensive. There are many many people who think that such a thing equals better quality (I know it doesn't, but I'm talking about the masses) so it could hurt the Xbox brand in the long run. Just like the iPhone is recognized by most people as a more quality phone than most Android phones.

They won't. I thought it was a pretty transparent way to try and create even more of a rush so MSFT could talk holiday sales. Greenberg set it up already sayign holiday is all matters in a previous statement so by creating a false 3 month price drop (just literally unheard of and pointless to even say) They will try to get people who think this is going away in January to buy now to inflate holiday sales even more than just announcing the price drop.

LMAO even the 360 which was actuallty better and near half price of the PS3 did never achive such sales ratios, but the lol X1 will.  Europe is 7-1 6-1 in sales for the PS4, Europe is not trickier Europe is a mostly a dead market for the X1 and always will be.

Nope. If there is a positive MS thread based on reality and not unreasonable it remains a positive thread. Like I think it would be crazy of anyone to think MS hasn't got a fair shot of winning november NPD. But is it reasonable to assume that the XB1 will win it by a margin so high that it kills off the 1M gap the PS4 has over it? Nope, thats unrealistic and simply fanfare at best.

Its nothing uncommon, with a price drop and the kinda bundles MS is offerring there is bound to be a spike in sales. But people like you keep referencing that lousy start they had as if thats the only reason the XB1 is behind now. As if somehow it was preordained that the XB1 was supposed to win NA simply cause they 360 did. It just doesn't work that way... and looking at what happened between the PS2 and PS3 is all the evidence you need.

People are not attacking him or Ms.  If you are going to make outlandish claims expect to be called out.  Stop the persecution complex it's silly. Saying x1 will win Nov no one argues that it had a good chance.  Erasing a 1.2 mill lead....... No. Ps4 will sell a lot on Nov.

It has no chance to do it this year and saying it does is simply arrogant. Long term wise who knows but if the Xbox One does catch up it won't be for awhile. There is your answer.
