This sale spike has some of you on a next level high. It hasn't even been a week yet and some outrageous comments already being spewed.

You do realize that plenty of other countries have Amazon in other countries, right? Why not check those to see if the XBO will outperform the PS4 globally? Here's a hint...Not a chance.

Also, you're going off a sales spike from a recent price cut. The reasonable thing to do is wait and see how things settle. I mean, some of you are using a week long trend, that could possibly change within a week (either by itself or because Sony responds), to calculate how the next two months will go.

You guys need to calm down its too early to extrapolate a few days sales spike because of price drop to the entire holiday season.

The difference in total sales for the USA region as at the 18th of October 2014 are 1,134,000 in favor of the PS4.

The Xbox One would have to sell for the last ten weeks an average of 110k plus the sales of the PS4 console per week.

It seems that the odds of that occurring are pretty unlikely given how consistently the PS4 has outsold the Xbox One in America.

If it manages any substantial level of success against the PS4 during the holiday season Sony will, against their current wishes, bite the bullet and cut the price of the PS4.

A price cut combined with Blood borne, The Order 1886 and the Chinese launch for the PS4 would likely result in early year total domination for the PS4.

There have been an absurd number of threads on Xbox One domination before the sales numbers have actually come in.

I doubt that Xbox will outperform it in the US. Much, much less in the european countries.

Also, why use Amazon as an indicator? Not everyone will buy it from the internet.

When had a console dominated us first year and not finished first there? Never. It's a temp spike. Problem is ms just shifted sales forward, sales in 2015 will tank for x1

Seriously, we have gone from the XB1 now being able to match the PS4 sales, to the XB1 selling slightly better this holiday season and now to the XB1 outselling the PS4 by over 1M consoles in the next 9 weeks. All from less than a week of estimated sales data......
