Forums - Sales - Can Xbox One Pass PS4 Globally in the USA this Year?

Xbox won't win November anyway. Two days later Amazon shows the Xbox bundles losing ground already and ps4 shooting back up after the disasterous day zero launch yesterday left a bad taste in gamers mouths.

The call of duty bundle is full of disgruntled customers reviews over buying it and the codes not working. Not shocked though. Once black Friday kicks off, ps4 will shoot past the recent sales Xbox has got these past two days and claim supreme victory.

Xbots nationwide will then truly be humbled by the almighty Sony PS4!

Homie, yesterday it dropped to 2:1 how much farther will it drop?

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Never saw the COD bundle maintaining its rank after the game released as most people won't pay 100 dollars more for 500gb extra storage and 1 less game. Much better value in both creed bundles and the white SO when it was in stock.

Maybe. If PS4 sold out and there's no units to sell. I think both, the PS4 and the XBO, will sell every unit they put on the market.

However, what if XBO surpases PS4 in the US. Is that a consolation for Microsoft or xboxers? The global numbers are the important. PS4 sells 4:1 in Europe, and XBO crashes in Japan as expected. PS4 is now wining 2:1 worldwide.

Amazon rankings now showing just one XBO SKU ahead of the PS4 in hourly sales. Don't know how to check month to date which would be much more accurate

Seems X1 is down to 1:1 in Amazon so maybe the panda got toasted by a Amazon kick?

Sony should discontinue the PS4 NOW, if they did this it would probably take a year or abit more for the XB1 to catch up globally!

Anyway, for everyone to take note, a price drop or a nice deal on a console will boost the sales temporarely.

If Sony dropped the price of the PS4 to 350 then bundled a brand new game with it and said it was a temporary price drop, many people would jump on it right away as well.

i'm getting confused so may aswell ask here,do people believe that the Xone will sell over a 1m more than the PS4 in nov/dec in the USA

i think the in the UK PS4/Xone could be level overall and the Xone can obvioulsy win the USA like the 360 easily proved but i can't see it happening in 10 weeks

according to VGC data WW YTD's for PS4 is 8m and Xone is 3.2m i don't see how this ratio will just disappear because of the holidays
