Yes.

Xenoblade X is my most antecipated game ever since it was unveiled. At that point i hadnt even played Xenoblade Chronicles yet. After playing that, no sliver of doubt was left. It will be amazing. I am glad i own a Wii U. Might not get the multiplats, but it gets incredibly amazing games every year.

It should definitelt be on every Wii U owners to get list, and will hopefully gain some console sales from jrpg lovers. Can't wait until the dedicated direct to let us in on the multiplayer aspects, as well as if the mechs will be customizable.

Sorry, but that's just silly...even Skyrim on PS360 combined couldn't reach MK Wii, and Xenoblade Chronicles had less than 1mil on Wii - what makes you think that any RPG on WiiU can reach levels of mainstream game such as MK?

I know  that, I was just talking Wii U sales wise. I think around 3 million is possible, Smash sales pending of course.

So, as we all know Xenoblade Chronicles X is supposed to release on Wii U, and Xenoblade Chronicles is supposed to release on the new 3DS in 2015. My questions are do you think there is a reason they are really pushing both of these games at the same time? How do you think these two games will sell? Do you feel one will push the others sales? Can Xenoblade Chronicles X sell on par with games like Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros? Do you think they will try to make this series the fourth leg of the foundation of Nintendo as a company (along with Mario, Link, and Samus)? Do you find it funny how a game that wasn't even suppose to release Worldwide could wind up a cornerstone?

Im going to ignore what you said about the Xenoblade franchise because I still dont get why the fuck this is a thing?

Metroid isnt some foundation of Nintendo, the series is reletively small. Franchise sales havent passed 18m after 18 years, its only had 2 2m+ sellers and 8 1m+ sellers, its most recent game was 2010 which sold 1.27m.

For comparison (VGC)
Animal Crossing- 26.69m/ 4 games
Pokemon- 232.7m/ 45 games
DK- 64.98m/ 32 games
Kirby- 34.68m/ 22 games

And this is ignoring franchises like Wii, Mario Party, Mario Kart, Smash Bros etc.

Quite simply, Metroid is niche for Nintendo, not 1 of it 3 foundation legs.

It's considered the next most important franchise among Nintendo fans.

It's not like the (at least Mario Kart 8's) numbers sold will be so astronomically high that it would be out of the question to reach. And with the push of Shulk being in Smash, he will be exposed to MANY more people. Then two games (a handheld and a console) of the series are coming out at practically the same time. Why do you think they done that?

I think you may be surprised by how many people were actually curious about the character when he had his own SINGULAR reveal (which no other character comes to mind wasn't revealed along with someone else), Nintendo is pushing this. Trust me.

Yes, they will be. Mario Kart has a ~50% attachrate. Xenoblade has a snowballs chance in hell to outsell (or come remotely close to) Mario Kart, and the same can be said for Smash. Mario Kart 8 has a fair shot at outselling all Xeno-games released combined (you can probably add Xenoblade Chronicles X to that as well). The entire franchise combined has so far done a measly 5.04 million, including remasters/rereleases for PS3 and DS.

Xenoblade will not become as big as Smash or Mario kart.... And why is Samus considered a corner stone of Nintendo's characters? Metroid has never been a big-seller, and Xenoblade won't be either. Donkey Kong is a more important character than Samus in terms of recognition and brand value.

It doesn't have to be a big system seller to be one of the three games every Nintendo fan wants to see every gen.

Most important for what exactly?? If it was so important it would sell more, instead Ive listed 4 Nintendo franchises that are clearly more important to Nintendo fans otherwise they wouldnt be selling more.

So your saying that there is only 1.27m Nintendo fans as of 2010, or 1.77m Nintendo fans that owned a Wii =P

A very niche part of the Nintendo audiance wants it and thats why it sells so little.

And what's to say Xenoblade can't get that attach rate? Unusual and impossible are two seperate things, but unlike the last release (which has outsold munerous games of numerous JRPG series) where it took a fan petition to get it a limited release and no advertising, they have put it high in their priorities to get this game recognition by having it day 1 of Treehouse at E3 (second game too, right after Hyrule Warriors which was a recent release at the time so they needed to focus on that) having (as said before) a lone Smash reveal, and re-releasing the first game and having that the reveal game to push sales of the New 3DS.

Metroid isn't a game parents are going to be buying their children.  I will give you Pokemon, but that's a cornerstone of their handheld department.

Nor is Fire Emblem, your point being??
