Even I think the better current contenders for GOTY are Titanfall, Infamous Second Son, Watch Dogs, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Forza Horizon 2, and Destiny too ... 

The only one out of thaqt I can see is forza horizon 2 imo

I think its either far cry 4,mario kart 8(but really low low like number 10 or something for goty),smash and toad(i agree it has a chance an unlikely one but a chance, lbg3,forza horizon 2, and possibly just possibly sunset overdrive

TBH, i wasnt to thrilled about the game. But i have heard a couple of review editors that they really enjoy the game (after this last trailer though im happy as my biggest worry was how many stages. Thank god its over 70, my optimistic prediction was 30 XD). We dont get too many puzzle games (at least that arent indie titles) and this game is made by the best (or at least one of the them) nintendo team.

I think it has potential to hit ovr 90, thats why im suggesting this might be a candidate for GoTY. Not saying it will, but people shouldnt be sleeping on this title :0

there will be at least 30 levels as a DLCs.... i bet you my balls!

Um, I'm gonna say no. While Destiny and Watch Dogs have disqualified themselves for being disappointing, there are more choices like Far Cry 4, Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor and Dragon Age: Inquisition. I doubt Captain Toad will win.

Only 90 minutes in to Fora Horizon 2...... and unless Evil Within can stop it, then it's a cert for my GOTY.

Killer Instinct was fantastic also.

Seriously, creating this thread just gives people reason to mock you in the very near future.  This is a niche game that happens to appeal to the obviously niche Nintendo crowd.  Now some Nintendo fans may deem this their GOTY (over Smash or MK8 I'm not sure how), but to expect or predict that the industry will is just bat shit insane.  I know...that's what the OP is going for, but as d21lewis has said, we will die by your hyperbolic sword.

Ummmmmmmmmm..... I think SSB will be over this, but im trying to say this can potentially be a hidden goty contender. this game screams a 90 (or close to it) in my book. Its a puzzle game that looks amazing. You'll see soon when review goes up, i'll be surprised if this game gets lower than an 85
