No, I know what he ment, he was selling a load of bullshit with data to back it up, except that neither was remotely truthful.

The FF games sold well, the deal was done with Nintendo because FF4 was being co-developed with Grasshopper, as the original team was splitting, and Grasshopper was in bed with Nintendo at the time.

They said it wasn't coming, but it did. It didn't take "several years", Xenoblade arrived in the US less than a year after they said they had "no plans" to bring it over.
