I am using the scale that they used. Destiny was graded using the right scale, not the left one. Therefore when looking at its score, its the right we use to analyze the score. Don't believe me? Look at how meta critic tiers its coloring scheme, where does yellow pop up? Hint: Its not at 5, its at 75, thats because Metacritic and all reviewers use the right scale and when you analyze the score you must also use the right scale.

What your image is trying to say, and what you're failing to realize in your ongoing fight with windmills, is that critics and metacritic should use the left scale where everything is clearly cut and scaled properly. But they do not. They should but don't. Its not saying that you should use the left scale irregardless because that makes no sense. You can't just change scales after the fact, thats a post-preori non-starter and one that will get you kicked out of any statistics class. Whatever the basis is set as apriori is the basis you have to use post-preori, and the whole point of the graphic was to make you aware of the fact that reviewers review based on the right side and not the left. Reviewers inflate their scores.

Destiny was rated based on the right scale. You cannot use the left scale. Simple as that.

1 = TERRIBLE (1-2) = E 
2 = BAD (3-4) = D
3 = AVERAGE (5-6) = C
4 = GOOD (7-8) = B

There are several things wrong here..

Activision/Bungie announced 325 million sold through for Destiny.. That is sold to customers..     That was in the first 5 days alone.. that equals 5.5 million...  

So.. You are arong on the current sales.. and what it will do... It exceeded 5.5 million in the first 5 days..    and is likely at 6-7 million by now..   

Second..   Mario Kart will NOT sell 5 mil by 2014. It won't even do 2.5 million..  (now this is my opinion)..     So it will be probably 2 million vs 9 million of Destiny by end of 2014..  No way a game on on system with less then 10 million consoles sold worldwide.. will outsell most HYPED game of 2014 that is in consoles totalling over 150 million..  (PS4, X1, X360, PS3)
