What does that even mean? A 7.7 or a 77 is not an 8, in no part of the world does a person round a tenth decimal on a hundred-scale unless its to clean up numbers where the rounding doesn't change meanings (like saying 10001.5 or just saying 10002, the meaning is hardly changed because of orders of magnitude difference), and a <80 score in any school system is a C. None of these things are false, they are literally all true. C is not a bad grade, it means what its always meant: average. (Which is what Destiny happens to be.)

The reviews in their entirety tell of an average game. The end.

While I think people are heavily overestimating Destiny's legs I would be surprised if Mario Kart sells more.

No. You are saying 7-8 is yellow (AVERAGE) when the real and accurate grade is 7-8 (GOOD) and 5-6 (AVERAGE)... 9-10 (GREAT).

Or better for you.

1 = TERRIBLE (1-2) 
2 = BAD (3-4)
3 = AVERAGE (5-6)
4 = GOOD (7-8)
5 = GREAT (9-10)

You are trying to tell me 4 or 7-8 is AVERAGE.

Thats not what your scale shows... you may want to look at that image you posted again. If reviewers used the LEFT side of the scale, a 7-8 would be showing good.

Hint: 7 corresponds to 5 in the proper scale. 5 is not good, 5 is average.

Again, you seem to not understand your own image and are trying to use it to defend a point that it is, in fact, countering.

It says, very clearly: Reviewers use the right scale when reviewing when they should be using the left scale (but do not) when reviewing.

If you adjust and renormalize scales as per what they are today (infalted because reviewers use the right scale rather than the left) then a 7 is a 5, an 8 is a 6-7 (dpeending on what end of the 8s you end up in, higher or lower) and a 9 is a 8-9, and a 10 is a 10 in either scale. Reviewer score adjusted from what it is today, the right and Destiny's 77, would be adjusted DOWN to the left as a ~5.5 or somewhere bewteen a 5 and a 6. This is not a "good", this is average.
