Look. Let me explain this one step at a time:
5-6 to is average on the LEFT scale when grading is weighed correctly.
BUT
Reviewes use the RIGHT scale when grading, they inflate their scores.
SO
On the RIGHT scale, since we've had to adjust what the grade means due to inflation, a 7 is average.
IF
Reviewers graded based on the LEFT scale it would be above average to good.
BUT
Reviewers do not grade based on the LEFT scale, they grade based on the RIGHT scale.
SO
A 77 is average.
