They need to buy Indie devs to make them Sports games since EA won't make them. They had REALLY good SPORTS games for SNES, N64, and even the GC...

Also they REALLY need to start REMAKING a lot of their games... The Last of Us Remake for PS4 sold over 1 million COPIES and it was a Remake of an ALREADY HD GAME!!! WTF!! You think people won't buy Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Majora's Mask, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and like even some of their SNES Classics like Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, and Earthbound remastered?? They'd make a TON of money from this... I would even say this can sway the Wii U in a positive direction by A LOT!

You cant compare a nintendo remake to a PS3 remake, a lot of gamers on PS4 hadnt PS3 so the sales were logical.

While most nintendo gamers had a GC or a Wii, so a remake  wont have the same effect than TLOU ( like we saw with WW HD)

The Wind Waker is one, if not THE least favorite Zelda for fans of the series. But yet the Remake still sold over a Million copies world wide. And we are not counting Digital Downloads that came with the console.

If you can make an arguement saying that most people that bought the Last of Us Remastered didn't have PS3, you can say the same for people with Wii  and Wii U's. It's like saying Sony fans aren't loyal to their consoles.

And I know PLENTLY of people who would buy remakes of both those Zelda games... Me Included.

You can't support a console in the volume that some people want when you are the only ones making games for it. There is nothing wrong with Nintendo's software output (they juggle two consoles infinitely better than Sony), its the fact that they are the only one making the games that creates a problem. They seem to be supporting more 2nd party (or whatever you want to call them) ventures and I would love to see them purchase a studio or two...

wut

You missed Sept. and Oct. for Hyrule Warriors and Bayo 2 in 2014, but the lineup looks pretty solid. Honestly they should really really make Star Fox awesome and release that in 2016 and maybe an F-Zero they would make more of an impact on Wii U sales thean they did on GC

XBOX ONE/Wii U/3DS/PC

RIP Iwata 12/6/1959-7/11/2015

Thanks for all the great memories!

Too little, too late.

The fact is they can't support 2 platforms at once without one being starved of games. The Wii U release lineup is picking up, but you notice the 3DS release list thins out.

This generation is basically a wasted one for Nintendo, they will just have to regroup and try their best with the Fusion concept probably in 2016.

Not sure what makes you think WW is one of the least favorite Zelda, i hear the opposite from most fans who think TP is the worst of the serie. ( and TP didnt sell so much compared to WW , at the opposite when you compare the install base of both consoles 22M vs 100M )

No, you didnt understand it seems, i said a lot of PS4 gamers had no PS3 because they were not  all sony fans, only gamers, 30% were jsut people who had a 360 or a Wii, while Nintendo consoles are bought by nintendo fans and nintendo fans buy all nintendo consoles so it's logical to say the game will sell more because it wont be a new game for most of them.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

No they will not, without 3rd party support even if they improve the output the lack of variety will be impossible to bear with, there are just too many genres and type of games that Nintendo just does not make, including sports

I meant a real 3D Mario like 64 or Sunshine...Or at least Galaxy.A lot of us want that, tired of Mario Land/World.

Mario adventure games are so good

Not at all.

Garage got off the ground within EAD in a big way. Next Level moved up in the world and are a much needed Western dev (they still need a couple more). They came to learn how HD development will affect their costs, times of development, and resource management. They're building good bridges with indie devs and pushed forward Nintendo Frame Work and almost universal engine support for development.

If they can fix their Nintendo OS and their account systems, they will be in a good position.

3D World has a lot in common with Galaxy, the second half of the game is basically Galaxy 3 (there's even plenty of space themed levels).

Nintendo should've just chosen a different name for the game.

Sunshine was a tiresome bore by the end, it really doesn't feel much like a Mario game.
