Or the game could be about the Pokemon hunter fro the Canalave library book. And you have an option of repenting to Arceus at the end or killing it God of War style because you feel like it.

Maybe the motivation was because some wild Pokemon killed your family or something.

However, meteors are slightly (only so slightly) heavier than swords.

For reference, looking back at official Pokémon data, the meteors Pachirisu can withstand are one of the most powerful moves in the games, while the strongest sword moves are at least a third less powerful.

So essentially you're suggesting a Team Rocket game.

Meteors are large, blunt objects. Thus, less force per unit area on impact.

Swords are sharp, thin objects. Thus, more force per unit area.

Therefore, swords are more effective against Pachirisu than meteors.

By the way, I haven't seen any MonHun crossovers yet. I honestly wonder what the potential of such crossovers would be, lol.
