Uh yea... The franchise moves one way... SS > LBTW > Zelda U but if you don't believe the word of the developer, thats fine, to each to his own. Anyway, I dont even know why you brought Zelda into a thread about Destiny so lets stop talking about it

For the same reason FF XIII was brought into the conversation.

Yea, I dont really know why he brought that into the conversation either so lets stop talking about both

Yeah. Let's stop and give way for the "troll Bungie and Destiny" discussion to come back. Much healthier conversation.

Honestly, I think Bungie is terrified right now for what the ho hum reception among gamers and critics will do to long term sales. Yes it had a massive opening week. But this game cost 500 MILLION dollars. That's insane. It absolutely needs to be a long term seller to stand a chance at being profitable. If it isn't it could wreck them financially.

a. It didn't cost them 500$ mil
b. didn't they make 500$ mil already?

The game still didn't cost that much to make.

Try again.

Not a Zelda thread.

Not a "whine and bash Destiny" thread either.

Oh wow, so every thread's post in these forums should have no negativity about anything? I wonder why things aren't more peaceful.

You have a theoretical figure of the total cost of all Destiny related products over the next ten years. In actuality, that number isn't anywhere near what the actual budget of Destiny was.

EDIT: Ninja'd .-.

Every thread about Destiny certainly don't need you to repeat the same negative comments over and over again. True.

Lol, poor Bungie really seems to be taking their first critical failure harshly. They've been trying to do damage control for this thing before it even came out!

Yeah I'm sure they're crying all the way to the bank.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

What did I repeat here?

I've put in 12 hours so far and I feel like I've already done everything. The game feels very repetitive.

- each planet has about 5 missions, but they look exactly the same. Most missions have you spawn in the same spot, and then you walk past areas you've already seen to get to a 'new area'

- boss fights take forever, and boil down to "shoot weak spot, avoid one shot death"

- I've hit max level, and the only way to get more gear is to repeat the same boss fights over and over again? I...don't really want to do that

- the game ships with 10 multiplayer maps, but they all look the same because they take place on the same planets. It's like they moved the props around a little and called it a new map.

- the story is just straight up nonexistent. Most of the story is told through Peter dinklage dialogue while you watch your ship float (aka a loading screen)

Some pros, so it's not all negative:

- leveling up subclasses is cool

- shooting gameplay is rock solid

Essentially, I feel like I didn't get $60 worth of game
