Forums - Gaming - Destiny Is a Different Game After 20 Hours, Bungie Says

Really? Most browser MMOs get me liking them much faster.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Recent Zelda games? Oh you mean A Link Between Worlds where there was hardly any tutorial? Or Zelda U where Eiji Aonuma stated that he will make sure the tutorial is short? But granted, SS and WW had large tutorials but they weren't recent zelda games since WWHD was a remaster and SS came out a while ago

Cherry picking much, eh? Handheld Zelda don't have that problem, granted, since they follow pretty much the way 2D Zelda games have always been. But the console ones, on the other hand, yep, the recent ones have been like that. And it's annoying. SS is pretty recent in my book, since it's the last console Zelda, unless you count WWHD, which, like you said, also has that problem. And then, you have TP which also has that problem. Basically, most console Zelda games since OoT have that problem. Cherry pick all you want (I expected you to react as defensively as you did, to be honest), that's how it's been for the longest time now. Aonuma's claims about an unreleased game do nothing to me. I'll judge it when the game is in my Wii U. Feel free to drink their Kool Aid instead.

How is that cherry picking... You said Recent Zelda games... You never said on console or on handheld... And the most recent ones are either Zelda U or A Link Between worlds... I am not saying zelda tutorials shouldnt be shorter cause a few of them have been very long but the recent Zelda games have shown that their tutorials have been shorter and even Aonuma stated that in one of his interviews and lets not forget that he is involved with Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds and Zelda U so I am pretty sure that if he says, its going to be short, its going to be short

And even handheld zelda games had long tutorials, Spirit Tracks took forever to get going as an example...

Not a Zelda thread.

Zelda U isn't recent... It's not even out. -__-
The most recent console one is SS. And that one didn't show me that their tutorials got shorter. Thank you very much.

Honestly, I think Bungie is terrified right now for what the ho hum reception among gamers and critics will do to long term sales. Yes it had a massive opening week. But this game cost 500 MILLION dollars. That's insane. It absolutely needs to be a long term seller to stand a chance at being profitable. If it isn't it could wreck them financially.

Uh yea... The franchise moves one way... SS > LBTW > Zelda U but if you don't believe the word of the developer, thats fine, to each to his own. Anyway, I dont even know why you brought Zelda into a thread about Destiny so lets stop talking about it

For the same reason FF XIII was brought into the conversation.
