Smash Bros and Mario Kart are still viable canidates.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the new Smash Brothers in the running. A little surprised only one other person has mentioned it here so far, actually...

Everybody forgets about Dark Souls 2....is it because it was last gen only?

It's funny though, a last gen game only and a remastered last gen game obliterated (in terms of reviews) all the super hyped "next gen" games.

But it's only been a year and imo there are decent enough games to play on next gen.

In truth Devs should just not talk about the game at all. Show a game demo at Gamescom. Release the game at Holidays, profit.

It is honestly the only new game I've played this year and even I forgot about it.

Hahahaha, a shadow of the new shiny stuff I guess.

You're right. I'm sorry. The first Bayonetta was just only the best hack n slash created thus far.

People like to under-estimate Nintendo's games because the idea that the claim 'first party alone is worth it' is true is kinda terrifying in the current economic and industry climate.
