Anyone that has an opinion different that yours is out of their mind? Fyi I also enjoy Bayonetta over God of War, the combat is way more fast paced and requires more skill.

Most years? Hell yeah; but given that the Wii-U is the only next-gen console with tech familiar to its workers and isn't gonna be facing discrimination from 'not meeting the hype' cause, by comparison, there is none.
That said 3D World won awards in a year where it maybe should not have been probable for a Wii-U game to do so.

He said it as if it were a fact.
Btw God Of War requires a lot of strategy in combat when you're playing it on Hard or Very Hard Mode. The Easy and Normal modes don't though. That is one of the keys to its success, the ones looking for a simple and fun game can play it on Easy or Normal, and the ones looking for a challenge can play it on Hard mode from the get go.
Also combat isn't really everything in a genre like this. That is like saying Shooting Mechanics are everything in a Shooter. You are ignoring the fact that the entire game built around the combat matters just as much, and in that regards especially God Of War is way better and enjoyable.
In general it's looking like it's going to be the upcoming releases that take the cake (and eat it too) when it comes to GotY.

I just like world better and GoW's enemy and boss designs pale in comparison to Bayo, combo fluidity is unlike any other in the genre, she has better weapons and abilities, she can shapeshift between combos, most of the tourture finisher moves are way better than Kratos' which isn't really creative and just focuses on gore, you can take up enemy weapons after you beat them and the gameplay is fast and intense. GoW has more epic sense of scale? lol I think you need to replay Bayo.
Though I agree GoW would be second best. ;)
I haven't gotten Destiny, on vacation in Mexico, how is it?

I would say MK8 is the front runner at the moment, and I think DA:I, LBP3, and B2 are probably the main ones that could be up for GOTY against MK8. But if 3DS games are also legit contenders then Shovel Knight has got to be in the mix, no? 92 on Meta.
If B1 is anything to go by (90 meta on 360) then B2 is certainly a contender for a 90+ meta.
