I'm still laughing at the fact that TLoU:R is the highest rated game of the year. This year could not surpassed my GoAT

God Of War's enemies actually look like they can do some damage, and I prefer that Greek Mythology based enemy wayy better than any in Bayonetta. Shapeshifting and all actually are a negative for me, and Bayonetta definitely would have been much better without it. Torture finishers are better in GOW because of the gore (same way as in Mortal Kombat), otherwise I don't care about finishers in any game.

Also, you actually think that Bayoneta has better sense of scale than GOW? LOL. Have you not played any of GOW's opening boss battles, or any ogf GOW III's boss battles? You've got to be kidding me man, go out and play GOW III before you even think that Bayonetta actually has better sense of scale.

I could see DA:I or Bayonetta 2 potentially snagging a few awards. Little Big Planet 3... maybe.

Far Cry 4's in with a shot. So is the new Smash Bros., and possibly MarioKart 8, and possibly Dark Souls II. I'd even say DKC:TF might get one or two awards - despite it getting a few more lukewarm reviews, there seem to be a subset of critics that passionately love the game.

I don't think this will be like last year, where one game dominated. We'll probably end up with a group of five or six games sharing the honours fairly equally.

Still lots of time to find a GOTY..

So far for me my top lot is (no particular order)

Wolfenstien - such an amazingly fun game with awesome characters and story thats so unbelievable its believable :)
TLOU - Was one of the best games on PS3, is one of the best games on PS4
Infamous - very enjoyable, one of the best looking games on next gen
Diablo 3 - a lot more enjoyable than i thought it would be, a brilliant game

For the rest of the year

Dragon Age
Driveclub
Mordor game (forgot its name...lol)

So lots still to play and find out what is GOTY

DAI will not become GOTY.
Bayonetta will not become GOTY.
LBP3 might, but I don't think so.
I would wish it to be ACV or FC4 but that's probably not gonna happen.
SO might be a dud. If it's not it has some decent chances
And then there is MK8 and SSB.

Either way, it's gonna be tough for anyone who tries to make an honest unbiased list.
