The game has too little content for full price and it is just not innovative in any way, they should have kept it in development for another year atleast and more of that marketing budget should have gone to making the game.

I know the game has set a recored 500M Day 1 but with the scores that the game is getting can Destiny be called a flop? Even Titanfall has a 86 Meta.

Grinding gear is not content. Story -> PvP -> Raid/Missions/Strikes. That's all the content this game has to offer and they even held a good chunk of it off. Reviewers review what they got in the box, the fact that the raid and other aspects weren't is not a reviewers fault. Its Bungie's fault.

so would ye say they a voided poor scores because they had no servers up, to be honest i still bought duke nukem despite the reviews and even i thought it was over rated,

I've read that one of the biggest criticisms with Destiny is that a lot of the maps are barren empty places with nothing to do. Hopefully they add on this in the future. I think people should wait to see how Raids are to determine a final judgement though.

honestly, the game is too lacking for it to get anything above a 7 or 7.5. not to mention the repetitiveness.
