This is the problem right here. Many western players are not willing to give it a chance and don't really have a clue what they are missing because the general consensus is that Nintendo just makes Mario.

Danman27, this game looks amazing and it will be nothing like any other 3rd person RPG you ever played. As was Xenoblade chronicles. The only game that comes close to the ammount of exploration and vastness is the Elder Scrolls series. Xenoblade is the Japanese Elder scrolls, with probably more variety of envyronments . The game should be beeing praised as much as Skyrim... and now that they added mechs, its even deeper.

This was difficult to read.

I tend to think of Bethesda RPG's as first person RPG's. If that is what you meant.

I edited to make it an easier read anyways. :)

I meant that there's nothing so far to believe that the new Xeno will be innovative in any way. To give that praise based on the limited footage out there made me cringe.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Well considering Xeno and Tales are the only series carrying the jrpg torch that Final Fantasy dropped and shit on so long ago...

Err... have you played the original game? Theres also extensive footage on this game aswell from E3.

I can tell you the game will be very good because of that. Of course, the only things i can't tell are story and possible variety of regions, but having played the first game i have absolutely no reason to think it wont be amazing.

I see quite a few beeing reticent and not understand why we are so excited for this game. Its because the original is really really good and this one looks like more of the same but improved mechanics and graphics. The chances that it wont be good are very low.

Wasnt it? I said the game will be amazing. Its a bit dull if i have to give the full justification about why on every post. But, well, now you know. :)

I made a little typo there that i'm fixing. Anyways you can believe this game will be special. And if you havent played the original, definitly give it a go.
