Can we assume 7 million copies day one then? I say 10 million week one. Destiny sales should look like:

PS4: 4.5 million
Xbox One: 3.5 million
Xbox 360: 1.2 million
PS3: 800k

i think 500M would translate to 8 million.

@OP: this is HUGE. around 10 million week one?!

Shipped, not sold....

Some limited editions are more expensive.

But we dont know if they are counting PS4 bundles in that figure.

Only the price of the game. Not the console

for comparison:

CoD: Ghosts --> 1billion dollar first day (sell in)

GTAV --> 800m frist two days (sell through)

Destiny --> 500m first day (sell in)

For a new IP this is AMAZING!

$500 million means 6-7 million copies sold.

So you are expecting 45% of PS4 owners to purchase week 1 vs 70% of XBox 1 owners.

I would assume the PS4 version to sell to a slightly higher percent of owners based off of advertising, exclusive content and the hardware bundle.
