I wasnt talking about gamers, i was talking about journalists.

Also, sorry but GoW3 is not the best hack and slash game by a longshot. GoW is a very enjoyable game, but the responsiveness and depth of the game doesnt come close to Bayonetta, Devil May cry 3/4 and Ninja Gaiden 2. This is from a technical point of view of course. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

If GTAV had won last year, that would be two years in a row if it won again. But it's TLOU that won last year.

the quality (from what it appears) is no doubt there for consideration, but the media would never let a nintendo game win GOTY, however they will turn around 5 years from now and vote their games in top 5 of current gen lists.
