There's still Super Smash Bros, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age to come. There's more but I don't feel the need to list them all. My point is there are a lot of high profile games still left to release that have a shot at GOTY.

True, but if we're talking losses, Airtight games closed down after this year's Murdered: Soul Suspect. I doubt either Platinum or Nintendo will close down in the wake of Bayonetta 2.

Looking at the games this year so far, theres no clear winner but I don't think bayo will be in the running. It looks niche compared to the likes of Destiny and Demon souls, but not niche enough for it to be cool to nominate lol.

honestly I'm think Mario Kart 8 or Smash Bros if it comes out in time...
