My original Wii U will likely be absolutely fine. My NES and original GameBoy are both in perfect working condition, and both are close to 30 years old. Same goes for every other piece of Nintendo hardware I own (and I own basically all of them), so yeah, I have no worries about that. The fact that your games are tied to the system will be handled in time, Nintendo have been working towards that for a while now, so that's a non-factor too. Once that happens, and they fully adopt an iOS/Android-like environment (as they will, Iwata has stated so literally) there's no reason they wouldn't keep their (old) games available for basically eternity. Your orinal discs are more likely to have become scratched and/or lost by 2034, so yeah.

The difference between the NES,SNES and N64 are that there's no moving parts inside. Disc based consoles will never last 30 years unless at some point, you just stop playing it and stick it in a case. So unless you're going to do that, your Wii-U is going to be dead by then (unless you learn how to repair them and stock up on the parts you're going to need because most of them won't be in production either).

As for games, If you don't touch them and take care of them, they will outlive all of us.

It's not just wii u with these issues. PS$/Xbone have 500GB worth of storage but the need to install games means you can run out of space pretty quickly....
