Add the 8 weeks of July and August from Vgchartz data. http://www.vgchartz.com/tools/hw_date.php
67.062 + 63.417 + 61.357 + 61.526 + 59.040 + 59.512 + 66.454 + 54.524 = 492 892
Adding sold /shipped with Vgchartz tracking for July - August:
6 680 000 + 492 892= 7 172 892.
Now decide how may are on shelfs.

Again, there's more to the world than the US, Japan, Germany and France...

10 weeks of stock on shelves is often the case with consoles, which would mean WiiU is overtracked by around 500k...Still, I am willing to give it the benefit of doubt due to stock likely being low around the world due to little interest in it so I say it's probably in the 300-400k range of overtracking.

VG chartz has been more or less spot on with their tracking of the Wii U, i cant imagine that many being sat on shelves as retailers still prob only order the bare minimum.

It's on track to be immensly overshipped.

Unless Nintendo stuns us all and ships 1.2m this current Q. (That would be up 700k over last Q which featured 5 weeks of Mario Kart).

You think WiiU is overtracked by around 500k? God Damn, I kno US its overtracked by about 80k-100k, but 500k WW :0
