Why are we listening to this at all? Developers always say crap like this.

I see a lot of spamming in Street Fighter, that's about it. Even in tournament play.

Of course it's spamming. You only use 5-6 different skills on each char, it's all about perfect timing and counters, instead of memory (that and quarter of circle)

It's not really technical to spam something over and over until the enemy does something you want him to do, it's cheap.
Tekken is the poster child for "unnecessarily complex" in terms of fighting games, is it not? Doesn't seem bad to me.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
That really doesn't mean anything. It might mean it has an easier learning curve or they want to distance it from Tekken. It's good they don't use the Tekken engine because I hate how fast Tekken matches play.
