A quick google search shows an article which puts PS2s in 2011 at about 6.5million. That's about 0.5% of the population (at the time).
Hmm, pie.

10M solds is a fact being touted to garner good public relations. most competitive or comprehensive is an opinion at best and seeing the slaughter of xbox in the 13 regions it is released in a pretty unpopular opinion.
but yeah, both PR. the main difference being that sony's PR is good PR and ms's is fairly laughable and an obvious attempt to try and spin their poor fortunes into something other than the massive failure xbox has been to date. |
then why not prove it instead on relying on it being PR ?

And even if the PS4 sells 5 to 1 in India it would still be 1mi Xones or +$400mi revenue.
It´s a market that is worth fighting for.

VIP PR
I think he's only talking about India, so he could be right cause he says PS4 has had stock problems there.

exactly, that's my point, saying PR is PR is invalidating any difference in reality |
What the hell are you talking about?

Silly Billy.
You cannot prove an opinion. Since they are both PR statements, since everything said by a commercial entity publically is a PR statement, the company has a vested intrest in stating it.
Since Sony's announcement is a fact, even though they obviously said it for their benefit, the content of the fact itself remains the same.
However, since this MS's Rep claim, "XB1 is more competitive" is an opinion, then it not only is skewed to make the company and the product look good, but it is also completely subjective and not valid in any kind of rational discussion. What he says holds the same weight as a fan saying "XB1 is the most competitve because its Xbox". Now you see that can't make any kind of logical sense now can it?
