PR is PR. Everyone does it. Besides, he's talking about the features, not system sales.

The more interesting thing is that he basically confirms that the PS4 has had serious supply issues there until recently. People were scoffing at that when Sony said it but now Microsoft backs them up. Turns out that "there are plenty of units at my Wal-mart lol" doesn't always reflect the global market.

Wel he works for MS, coming from a PR person the word "competitive" is just a word that sound positive (I.E. spin mode) but is vague enough to not actually mean anything.

Well he's kinda right, competitive does not mean better selling.

Its games have a higher metacritic.
It has more AAA exclusives
Its cheaper to produce then PS4
It has a busier fall line up then the PS4.
Probably will be in more supply based on what others have said.
Kinect is far more functional then PS eye (not sure about the cost difference though)

The only way the PS4 seems competitive seems to be on the goodwill it has with customers and its power/resolution advantage.

People seem more interested in playing sides, then they are in applying logic.
