don't see what the big deal is. what's the actual gameplay like? you just visit these worlds, then what?

I call bullshit on this entire game and its procedural worlds. This is not the first game to try the random endless world where no one thing is the same blah blah blah. Everyone that has tried this has failed miserably and it does not work because the number of assets is finite.

Gamers easily impressed. How do you think AC: Colonial Marines and Duke Nukem scamed them?

Just the "looks" get them sold.

This game needs another selling point other hand seeing randon generated stuff.

Yes, it should be exactly like minecraft although I would think that the crafting would be more limited. It doesn't seem to have a crafting mode, so it should be like MC adventure mode with limited crafting, in the sense you can use ur omnitool to mine/dig/collect resources but you can't like use it on everything in the world.

In terms of enemies and bosses, their is the federation or whatever they call them trying to conquer everything in space, and the hostile predators on the ground. I think they said some planets will be/have been in habited so I wouldn't be surprise if there we're ruins and such.

They said the game is based off of classic Sci Fi, so the worlds should vary from primal to scientific civiliation and so on.

EDIT: Each planet could also have different areas such as hidden ruins underground or something, a world that appears purely primal might be hiding a secret dungeon or somethin

Okay, I just looked up a little more about the game, and while everything is still vague, it does seem to have some substance. Even still, I'm not too sure how I feel about this type of game, but the visual design is absolutely gorgeous so I will certainly be willing to give it a shot.

So excited for this.

good luck. I'll get bored after 3rd one that looks exacly like the previous

Thats probably what will happen. They are saying that not all planets are going to be the same. Sure, they're going to be randomly generated but the assets will be the same, just like minecraft.
