Doubt it. It will support only the Gamepad.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

SS motion controls were fantastic! Of course thats one of the main reasons the game got so much hate but i can't imagine going back to traditional controls after SS.

Adding optional motion or traditional controls makes everyone happy so do that Nintendo!

Disagree with optional motion controls. Either you build the game around it, or it's pointless.

Since I doubt Nintendo would build a Wii U game around the wiimote if it didn't have to, they should just focus on utilizing the tablet as effectively as possible.

Motion controls weren't the problem with Skyward Sword. The problem with Skyward Sword was its linearity.

That being said...I don't necessarily think that the placement of the sword in his hand means that much. They could just like the visual aesthetic of it, and are retaining for future iterations where they might actually implement motion controls again. Doesn't it make more sense anyway for Link to be right handed, afterall?

please, no... if anything, emulate the souls games. they have the best combat

Make it optional. I didn't mind SS's motion controls at all but for some reason, a lot of people had issue with it.

Why is everyone assuming the motion controls will be Skyward Sword like?

Twilight Princess had motion controls that didn't alter the game design. Zelda Wii U will more likely have those types of controls, but optional, rather than Skyward Swords style. The Skyward Sword style compromises the gameplay which isn't suited for more than one control method..and we know Nintendo will want to use the GamePad.

That, and the annoying hand-holding! The motion controls worked just fine for me!
