Nintendo's lead indie boss, Dan Adelman has confirmed he has left Nintendo.

Before anyone starts chanting nintendoom, he's leaving on very good terms with Nintendo.

Personally, I think he'll know be able to do more for Nintendo outside Nintendo because he's off Ninty's twitter gag order for him.

Sad to see him leave. He was the go to man for Indies and he, i believe, became a very importante person for Nintendo. You can`t just replace a person who had the weight he had when dealing with Indies.

Still, as he said, Nintendo didn`t just rely on him and i think the teams he left behind will surely do their role well.

Wow they actually had someone in charge of the Indie games at Nintendo? What did he do? Beg and cried to release an indie game on Nintendo consoles?

Was he responsible for non-existing quality rules that allowed every unfinished crap to be released on the eShop as long as it gets an age rating? The rules should be a little stricter...

No, he was the guy who took it upon himself to start calling them back when they left voice messages and answer emails instead of marking them as spam.
