O wow.. really.. thats it? gamesutra is a biased playstation site...don't make stuff up.. that's embarassing.. So you don't like what I wrote called me a troll and then called gamesutra basicly a troll.. yeah that convincing.. Basicly you are saying "there are a lot of games coming, its great" blind for the problems developers are telling the press, strange outdated workings (like you can't buy from the site) 1 crossbuy game etc.. Cause that site is biased and I'm a troll.. thats fine if you want to think that way
You praise that indie games come to the WiiU before the PS4.. If you had really looked deeper you'll see a lot of mobile ports.. Squids Odyssey, the amazing Tengami and more.. but when the creator of Tengami answers:
As a Wii U developer, are you concerned by the console's slow sales? Why or why not?
I am not overly concerned by this, to be honest. Tengami is not exclusive to the Wii U, which means we are not only relying on just the Wii U sales to support our work.
That really shouldn't be the answer, should it?
Dan did not work for NoE, he worked for NoA and never had a say in the cross buy game. Yes that's the point.. He should have made crossbuy also available in NoA.. If NoE could do it why not NoA.. thank you for agreeing with me And I don't know which sites you visit, if you haven't seen the press exposure No Man's Sky has gotten I can't help that.
You may call me a troll but if you don't see how bad Nintendo has been, yet improving, and now have a clean chance, without Dan, to truely push for the Indie market.. I can't help that.. Actually what I'm trying to say is:
Nintendo should have been the one to see the potential of Minecraft and have it timed exclusive on their systems. It utterly dissappointing that MS beat them to it.. that should have never happend.
I hope that the new indie boss will find such a game.. And I'm not a native english speaker..

I'll stop calling you a troll but the site is biased, simple as that. it's pretty obvious which sites are and you are just too blind to see that.
Then you bring up one developer... one developer.... 1 developer out of hundreds to try and make your statement solid fact.
And then you act like Dan Alderman was in charge of everything indie at Nintendo. Like he had all the final say. You can't be that stupid.
Then you bring up Minecraft, both Mojang and Nintendo have shown interest by Miyamoto basically said "because Japanese gamers are not in to Minecraft" Which solidifies Nintendo would not pay for a port of Minecraft. That game is entirely up to Mojang.
My suggestion, find articles in your own native tongue. Don't try and understand anything in English because besides a few sites. They all predominantly side with Sony or Microsoft and to someone who can't speak or read English natively you're going to be swung to whatever directiong the article wants. You're entirely mixed up and it's Gamasutra's fault why you are mixed up. No developer, besides EA (apparently), has had bad relations with Nintendo during the Wii and Wii U eras. You obviously don't own a Wii U so you don't follow the indie scene on it. It has been booming and developers usually praise how they can interact and get feedback from fans in Miiverse better than they can from other platforms. The post launch dev kits have been praised as easy to work with and extremely well documented. The fact of the matter is that this argument shouldnt even be going on.
This guy (Dan) left Nintendo after 9 years of being the face of Nintendo's indie scene (he had some influence, but he also was a public relations guy). he had gotten Nintendo to change or remove policies. For a company that many think "doesn't take negative criticism well" sure did a lot to change from it. The fact that Nintendo did NOT fire him for his Twitter incident a couple years ago says a lot about the company works. Dan was seen as valuable and when he left, he left on very good intentions. So before you try and steer this thread in to a "but Nintendo is bad" type thread I suggest you go read the actual interview
