The guy you are talking about was trying to change sow of the items you refered to -  the policy s are Nintendo s -

what you are saying about Dan A is way off base

Don't pay attention to him. He's a troll and quite unknowledgable on anything.

He doesn't know that Nintendo's indie scene is booming... even more so than other platforms. (Aside from steam)

Then proof me wrong, instead of calling me a troll, show me the recent articles, links, interviews.. have you read the gamasutra article I posted? and more importantly the comments? http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/207218/The_brick_wall_No_close_encounters_with_Nintendos_indie_exec.php

Or this one about the Crossbuy? http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/219923/Nintendo_finally_has_a_crossbuy_game_for_3DS_Wii_U.php
Why is it only in Europe? why does it only work if you buy the 3DS version?

Or the one about people saying that the eShop is small and more quieter then the other stores so they have a bigger change to stand out with their game
http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/215885/Let_them_slug_it_out_on_mobile_or_Steam__the_quiet_benefits_of_Nintendos_eShop.php
Is it positive? Is it booming?

and yes the above 3 are recent articles.. not old ones..

Don't you think it was a bit late when Dan said: "We're trying to do a better job of reaching out to indies" in september 2013?

Its not like the indie scene started in 2013.. Don't you think thats late? What was his job the other 8,5 years he worked there? How long is the WiiU out there?

You may call me a troll but then back it up..

You are placing the blame on the 1 guy who did more to make positive changes re Ninrenso s Indy policies and games than anyone -  one of the reasosn he is leaving is due to him having g spoken out against some of the policies that none of us like -  if you cared to look I to the guys work history w Nintendo you would not be putting blame on him-  he did a tremendous job and it will be difficult to replace him -  my base point is if you think the Indy situation is weak at Nintendo so now, it would have been far worse w out Dan A
