For the last month I've been chipping away at Dragon's Dogma, a game I'm not particularly impressed with.

Really? I'm sad to hear that. I truly love Dragon's Dogma.

My biggest gripes are difficulty spikes, traversing the world can be mind numbing, the world feels bland and empty, boring quests, and the story isn't interesting or told in an enjoyable way.

I like the combat and I'm a fan of action RPGs, but I fail to see the appeal of this game.

I'm pretty far into it, I only have 6 more main quest missions left. So I'll probably finish it, but not sure if I'll even play the Dark Arisen content.

Well, nothing really comes out this month, so nothing new.

I guess I ought to continue with Amalur. I've played about 9 hours. It's fun, and there's little technically wrong with it, but it's kind of repetitive, more so than most RPGs. It's also very, very easy. But now I've at least tried everything I picked up during the Steam summer sale, though most of it has been pretty uninspiring (Blacklist turned to be by far the best, oddly enough).

I've also just remembered that I own Watch Dogs, and perhaps that deserves another chance, but the few hours I've spent with it have been pretty tedious.

Nothing I really want to play comes out until October unfortunately

It's the 2nd best FF game ever made, so of course you're liking it so far!

In my opinion at least, Final Fantasy IX has to be the best FF game ever made! You can play all of them if you want, but IX is a must!
