Even if I fully explained everything, I would just get 5 people responding saying TL;DR then cherry picking some minor parts that they didn't like.  Then I would have to explain the whole thing over again anyways.  I'm already re-explaining the obvious for you as it is....  Why do I need a bigger headache.  I don't know if you've noticed, but people don't really look at the big picture on this site.  

So Sony sold 10M in June 30th because they stockpiled the launch (and were sold out up to May), and still is in some places? Yes sure... And I deny the numbers in this site since they are completely off since the beggining of the gen, PS4 is about 300-500k undertracked here. And to you if a console doesn't sell as good as Wii it fumbles, so if it sells bellow GC what is it doing?

I read your links, did you? Where does it prove or at least put a good argument on the issue? I sent you a different one that is a lot more direct and answer you. But if you want to ignore it so you can say you are right no problem to me... for you Sony can't be right and wouldn't be a good bet for customer because "they won't return your investiment"...

Tell me how MS and Nintendo returned your investment in their last 2 years of X360 and Wii.

With your first point...  I think you need to reread some stuff because you should be able to answer that yourself...

I wasn't villifying anyone, you guys have been doing that to Microsoft all by yourself.  I was the one explaining why all three are equally evil.  If anything you just attacked your side with that one.  

Sony and Microsoft aren't anywhere close to where they should be sales wise.  The winning console should be sold out pretty much for the whole of the first year.  That's just basic history for games consoles.

You told me to reread this post, but It seems to me you don't even understand what you've said. I said they released a year earlier so their was no excuse. Not to mention, that the claim that the Wii U is gaining traction now that it has competion which is not only silly, but blatantly false

As far as your link goes, companies lie about stuff like that all the time.  My theory is that they had two plans going in.  1) with DRM 2) without DRM.  Jack Tretton made those statements earlier to make Sony seem innocent if they decided to go with the non-DRM route.  Basically they were playing both sides.  My opinion on this isn't even Sony-hate as you would put it, it's just my skeptical nature.  Companies do this kind of thing all the time.  It's only good business practice to do it.

So you should ask for all people with above 2 years on the site and more than 1k posts to leave here... and the mods as well... anyone not interested in using VGC numbers in their favour knows that they get adjusted pretty much all week now because of imprecision... in May X1 was overtacked almost 50% and PSVita undertracked like 500%... so yes, for LTD the site is reliable (but even so they had to add 1M to X360 numbers to match latest shipping figures)... and in Germany VGC is 1M overtracking X360 and 300k PS3.

But if you want to take VGC numbers as gospel your choice, but just go look for the corrections made before you put to much faith on it.

So your answer to my post showing that they alread had said they wouldn't put DRM (instead of your weak point that they removed it because of MS flack, that you base on a rumour of a interview that don't have a link) is that they were doing it anyway... so no amount of proof would suffice...

What you don't seem to understand is that it's a theory.  I'm not stating facts here.  I am drawing conclusions from facts.  Your problem seems to be that you think I'm stating things I know for a fact.  I don't know any of this, however this is a thread for discussing possibilities, not slapping eachother on the back agreeing with eachother.  

My original post was that Microsoft and Sony could reciprocate fans better than Sony could.  That isn't a fact its a conclusion I drew from everything that's happened until now.  The Last of Us Remastered, Sony's Money problems.  etc

Not to mention, only six was in response to the claim you said I misread. 1-5, where other stupid things you said such as: a winning console should be sold out, Microsoft was villianized, the Wii winning ruined Nintendo's reputation and doomed the Wii U, that the Wii U is gaining traction because the XB1 and PS4 are faltering(Despite the fact that the not only all increased in sales and the Wii U sold more on the holiday of its release then last holiday), and that the Wii U would fail out of the gate (Irrelevant because they had a full year BY THEMSELVES TO FIX IT), all of which are obvious lies.
