The only thing I'm guilty of is buying DLC and I can honestly say that, as far as I can remember, none of it was to complete a half finished game. It usually added to the experience. I buy the good shit.
The last game I bought DLC for was Mass Effect 2 and I can´t recall if I have done it since. Pay-to-win... I don´t Think I have ever done it, not sure.
Do I buy DLC? Yes
Do I support DLC? Yes
Am I apart of the "problem"? Sure
Did I ruin gaming? Of course not...
I hope this thread isn't saying that all DLC is "chopped off" content because that would be silly and obviously untrue.
Regardless, I've bought a fair amount of good DLC and I shall continue to do so. If I really enjoy a game then I usually want more of it and I certainly do not mind supporting a quality developer further. Costume DLC does not interest me, though I'm fine with it existing.

Never bought DLC, I dismiss Free to Play and I also don't wanna enter unfinished products, so nope.

I don't do pay to win.
I buy DLC that is not integral to the main game. Fortunately I got From Ashes for ME3 without having to pay, because that's the one bit of DLC in any game I've owned thus far which I think is integral to the story. I bought Leviathan but that is interesting backstory, and I bought Omega because that's fun side story. I've bought a bit of Dragon Age DLC because it's decent filler. None of it (other than From Ashes) I have felt makes the core games seem inadequate or unfinished if played without.

Smart comic. Funny and sad at the same time. We've really dug a hole for ourselves and our fellow consumers.
I've never paid a cent for free-to-play games, nor have I invested money in early access. I have, however, purchased some DLC for Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil 5, and Fable II. The Fable II stuff was worth it, the others not so much. Since then I've decided that I'll only get DLC when it's free or when it's a full expansion pack like New Super Luigi U.
I might add preordering to the sins covered in the comic. If it's for a title that will sell out fast, then I understand, but in general I think it's a dangerous game. It signals to publishers that we as consumers are willing to purchase unfinished games based on the way they're marketed. It disrupts the traditional revenue stream of video games and marginalizes the critical community.

Agreed that expansions have been around for years, but they were jsut that expansions. DLC for most moral developers is expansion to a game, some will break up the game and you have to pay to get extra levels.
