Regardless, I've bought a fair amount of good DLC and I shall continue to do so. If I really enjoy a game then I usually want more of it and I certainly do not mind supporting a quality developer further. Costume DLC does not interest me, though I'm fine with it existing.

well tbh its just a funny comic.

I have no issues with DLC if its done right and not designed to be a money grab for something that should be in the game.

Most the DLC I own is from 'GOTY'/'premium'/'complete' edition physical games.
The remaining were bought in a PSN sale.

I only tend to buy alternate outfits like these:

 

So yeah, I guess I'm part of the problem. Sure, I've bought TLoU Left Behind, I've never bought microtransactions, I haven't invested on a FTW game. I guess I'm still part of the problem. Am I ruining gaming? NO.

What console are you Street Fightin' on?  If you're a non-Shoto (ken/ryu style) user, you're okay in my book.

DLC applies to me I guess, Mass Effect, GTA, Call of Duty, and Halo being the main games I've bought the majority of DLC for. Haven't done any of the other things mentioned.

Never bought DLC (outside of the stuff included in GOTY editions), never paid for Early Access, never paid anything in a free game....

Sometimes I honestly think gamers are whiners. Games today ship with tons more content than the average game in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

Nonetheless, I think the critiques are merited in particular cases -- like Call of Duty.

I rarely buy DLC. But last weekend I paid $3 to add "Gungnam Style" to my copy of Just Dance 2014 so my wife and I could learn the moves. So that probably makes me a huge part of the problems.

The only DLC I have bought was Majora's Mask on Wii VC and Master Quest on NGC. I would have bought Zelda Ura.
SMG2 was a present.

Uh-oh is this confession time? This is a safe place right?
I've bought donuts in EA's Simpson's Untapped game MULTIPLE times - I was weak, they caught me in their grasps. I'm better now but as a result I've ruined gaming. WHAT HAVE I DONE!

Also, I've bought some Just Dance songs... and some "season pass" DLC's... oh boy - guys i can't help it!
