They tried to remove Smash from it last year as if they had gone full retard or something.

Dunno how I feel about coro leaks for the rest of the roster. The steady stream of New Challengers is doing wonders for the Smash Hype, seems like a momentum killer.

I hope all the hype translates into WiiU sales. This and Mario Kart are the games pushing hardware. I'm really curious on the sales of the 3DS version. Will it sell more than the home console?
Nintendo always manages to get me insanely hyped for Smash games...I haven't been this hyped for something since Brawl o.o
actually they can handle it better. They can actually give info on the Wii U version and what features it will have compared to the 3DS. As of right now, all the info on the Wii u version is what it lacks compared to the 3DS version.

What are you talking about? The Wii U version will have a lot more modes than the 3DS version. It's the one Nintendo wants to do the best. It's their baby, and the one that's still not even finalized yet because they're still dicking around with it.

Well thats not true...we know a lot of things that the Wii U and 3DS share, and we know a lot of Wii U exclusive stages. Also, obviously Smash on Wii U will have a far superior local multiplayer. Finally, we know that the Wii U version will support Amiibo at launch, which wont be available on 3DS (at least immediately) Additionally, it only makes sense to try to build hype for the 3DS version first and the Wii U version after its release, as the Wii U version is obviously superior and they would like to maximize sales of both versions...

Yet none we have heard about. We don't even have a defined release date. They just say Holiday 2013 while the 3DS has an exact date. yeah you can say it WILL but you don't know really. So far there has been nothing. The only thing that has been confirm for the difference between the two (other than graphics) is different stages due to resemble the games and the fact that the 3DS has more gamemodes. The rest they don't tell us.

well yeah it will have far superior local multiplayer but... what about the online. That worries me after the face they recommended that you don't use wireless for it. And yes, Smash bros will suport Amiibo but heres the thing. So will the 3DS, not right away but it will so that is not a differece in the versions. Yeah it makes sense to build hype for the 3DS but at the same time, it is killing the hype for the Wii U version (at least for me and my friends it is).
*sorry for the double post, I hit reply instead of edit, this was suposed to go in my last message as well.*

Could someone answer my question please, what is EVO? |
EVO is an important fighting tournament where games like Smash Bros Melee, Killer Instinct, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, etc... are being played! It all started in '96 where the participants played Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo ( Damn.. that name is kinda long...)!
