Seriously, they reversed their stance on EVO, and have been working the New Challenger Approaches angle for all its worth. I can't believe how much hype they generated with a character we all suspected would be their from the start, Captain Falcon, by not listing him on the roster and waiting till now to confirm it when it was arguably least expected. Did anyone in the entire world expect that yellow boot to stomp into frame after the "Lucina Wakens Her Blade?!"?

We still have to wonder what else they have up their sleeves. More tourney support? More new characters? The inevitable Smash bundle? The in depth amiibo feature reveal?

Am I the only one that's enjoying the well done lead up as much as the game?

Probably the hypest game in Nintendo's recent years.

I really dont think they can improve up on it any better, maybe except for the release date but apart from that, its pretty much perfect! Oh and let Tharja be playable character and have cutscenes like they did in brawl

If they made a deal with Disney to have Tron as a playable character, that would make it the perfect video game for me. Granted, Flynn ends up being the real epic dude in Tron, but Tron himself is a warrior beast and even considered Flynn's protector until we gets brainwashed by Clu.

Will there be another character announced from outside the Nintendo?

I originally hated the suggestion, but a Bayonetta announcement would be pretty huge. She has fighting moves and animations already, she has a Wii U exclusive coming out, with Nintendo crossovers in the form of costumes, and if they needed to they could tone her sexuality down to Zero Suit levels or use the Mecha-netta.

I'm fairly certain a Bayonetta reveal would generate buzz for her upcoming game/bundle, even if it were a troll like Chrom or an assist trophy in someone else's reveal.

Yea i agree, considering they took the time to make a Rayman Trophey for Smash, which we still don't know if its just that, an assist or what, I don't think its too wild to imagine bayonetta being in the game in some form.

EVO is a pretty big fighting game tournament.

If only they could do this kind of stuff for all of their games.

Forget Tharja, I want Severa in there! Super Smash Bros needs a cynical tsundere!
