And what is your basis on that? The Wii hit 100 million  and was selling 3 times more than what the PS4 was by now. The Wii didn't drop below 100k sales a week until 5 years into it's lifetime. Maybe if Sony keeps the PS4 going for the next 10-12 years but it won't because they won't let them selves be left behind. With the current numbers as they are and how they are going, it will never happen. Not even close.

Wii u is the biggest contributor,and ps4 will be not lucky at all to not sell 100M,it's not my fault if you are ignorent do you know Ps4 still selling better Ps3 until now and in Summer console sale are always low.

I think 7 was the consoles luck number 7 and collective sales peaked then. PS4 might sell more than PS3 but won't sell more than Wii (not by much at least), XB1 will not sell more than 360 and Wii U won't sell as much as Wii (pretty obvious)

Are you aware PS4 sales will improve once the major system sellers come out and that the PS4 will continue selling for years to come, unlike the Wii which started to get ignored by Ninty after 4 years?

ok, the PS3 which had a bad start pretty much due to it's price however once it was finally back and all those issues were fixed. It was selling BETTER than what the PS4 is now DURING the summer months. Same with the Wii, The wii was still 200-300k a week during the summer months and 5 years later, it was still over 100k.  THe PS4 isn't breaking these numbers, over time yeah, it will spike up and then slowly drop again to these numbers and probably lower because that's what consoles do. If they don't already have the momentum, it is going to be hard to get it.

yes, and after it got ignored, it was still selling better than the PS4 is now and it hit 100m. Yes, the sales will improve, but they will also drop. Take watch Dogs for example, PS4 sales jumped, now they are back down. Mario Kart 8, Sales jumped, now they are back down. Titanfall, sales increase, now they are down. Price cuts from the Xbox and Wii U, sales increase. back down again. This will happen with the PS4 also. As for selling for years to come, yeah, it will go for the next 6 years and if they want it to hit 100m, they will need to keep it going for another 9 or 10 at least with the way then trends are going now. People must be delusional to not see this and think other wise. Do you honestly think the sales are going to increase tro like 1.5-2 million consoles a month? And that is selling that many WITHOUT decreasing for the next 5 years. Maybe during the holiday season but then it will just drop back down.

Everyone knows this generation will last alot shorter than last generation. Remember, both Wii and PS2 had years when the pulled numbers around 20mn. That is 1,5mn/month on average. Does anyone seriously think any console will be in that position this generation?

Also, last generation was an anomaly in terms of length, bit not in sales. It continued the growth from previous generations. This generation will be the anomaly though, with massive decreases.
