I think you´re being very generous with both the 3DS and Vita...I think we´ll see the release of the 3DS successor in about 2 years, it´s around 100M, Wii U around 35M, Xbox One around 35M, 3DS around 100M, Vita around 20M. Or around 170M just counting home consoles, 290M counting handhelds.currently at ~ 44 million, I don´t think it can manage to sell another 56 million when most of its big guns have already been fired.

yes, and after it got ignored, it was still selling better than the PS4 is now and it hit 100m. Yes, the sales will improve, but they will also drop. Take watch Dogs for example, PS4 sales jumped, now they are back down. Mario Kart 8, Sales jumped, now they are back down. Titanfall, sales increase, now they are down. Price cuts from the Xbox and Wii U, sales increase. back down again. This will happen with the PS4 also. As for selling for years to come, yeah, it will go for the next 6 years and if they want it to hit 100m, they will need to keep it going for another 9 or 10 at least with the way then trends are going now. People must be delusional to not see this and think other wise. Do you honestly think the sales are going to increase tro like 1.5-2 million consoles a month? And that is selling that many WITHOUT decreasing for the next 5 years. Maybe during the holiday season but then it will just drop back down.

Ps3 was not selling BETTER than what the PS4 is now DURING the summer months,ps4 has any of ps3 issues that's why it will sell better then ps3.

you obviously did not read what I said. The PS3 started off bad because it had issues, Issues that the PS4 doesn't really have now. Once those issues were solved, the sales for the PS3 jumped and skyrocketed and began selling better than what the PS4 is suring the summer months during it's second year. It took about a year and a half. You are not going to see this with the PS4 because the majority of those issues are not there and the issues were not to the extend of that of the PS3. Give it by next year and you'll see the gap between the PS3 sales and the PS4 sales start to close in on each other instead of widening as they are now. Also, just so you know, the PS3 at this exact week sold just about what the PS4 did (well, almost, 96k and not as much in terms of global sales) and it was already selling poorly so what does that tell you?

lol, it isn't that hard to beat the PS3 world wide as those numbers were bad FOR A REASON. A REASON THE PS4 DOESN'T HAVE which is why you are not going to see the numbers jump on the PS4 like they did on the PS3. They will jump when those titles are released yes, but they will just go back to what they were or almost what they were until the next release.
