What are those "Others" platforms at the bottom that seem to outsell Vita?
Its not surprising there two big games were advertised with Sony so they sold more. Plus there's more ps4 then x1s

mobile, browser, last last gen?
anno online as example. dont know what else ubisoft got

I don't think the point of the article, though, was only about Watch_Dogs. It was that all of Ubisoft's titles that sold this past quarter, PS4 sold twice as many total units as XBone. Whether 1 game sold 100 on XBone and 1 on PS4, but another games sold 1 on XBone, and 201 on the PS4, resulting in 202 units of software of PS4 and 101 for XBone, it doesn't matter about the one particular game. Especially because that's not what the article says nor does the quarterly report say. It just says that PS4 sold twice as much software as XBone. The bit about WD was just to confirm, per se, what the quarterly report said, since in the UK, the PS4 version nearly doubled up the XBone version |
You came late to the party. The Original title of this thread was something like WD selling twice as much on PS4 than XB1. The OP changed it after all the feedback. I had already read the info yesterday and knew what you just said. You are restating my point.
It is near the end of the end....
| Landguy said: even though this info was in some threads yesterday, it's funny that you state that it is selling twice as much on the PS4 as the XB1. Ther source info doesn't actually state that it only states that as a company, The sales of all of it's software is higher(36%) on the PS4 than the XB1 (17%). |
Learn math, you will understand the magic behind his deduction!
let's say Ubi sold 100 units of Watch_Dogs
- They Sold 17 of them on XB1 (times two that gives you 34)
- They sold 36 of them on the PS4 (that's over 34, thus it sold more than twice)
One funny thing, if you add PC, PS4 and XB1 together, that makes around 65% of the copies sold on "next-gen" type of platforms, which probably means that future titles will be tailored around the power / memory capabailities of these platforms, since older/weaker platforms will certainly not grow in popularity (not to imply some level of parity between a top of the line PC, a PS4 and especially not an XB1, but this is a better base target than the ps360 could be.

Really? Last I checked both were having an abysmal summer. The only game the PS4 has going for it right now is a remaster of a year-old game.
You're Gonna Carry That Weight.
Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Hello???
Where did I say that 17 isn't approximately half of 36? The original title claimed that these numbers represented the sales of Watchdogs. In reality, it represents the total sales of all Ubisoft software in the quarter for the respective systems. There are a few other ubisoft titles available for the PS4, even though they proabably don't add up to much. I never questioned the math or the percentages themselves.
What you need to do is work on your reading comprehension. Also, the OP changed the title of the thread, so it is irrelevent now.
It is near the end of the end....

Well, whose fault was that?

I dunno about you but I consider non-indies and multiplats as games, so I have quite the backlog. Plus that year-old game, was GOTY its basically, delayed TitanFall running at 1080p 60fps solid with DLC include, for nearly half retail price. Seem's like more than enough to me.
