Your thread is doomed.  Some PS360 games are still graphically comparable with the best PC games, like Halo4, The Last of Us, etc.  It's gameplay which really matters, and graphics will be fine on PS4 and XBone for a long time, I think you didn't see the short trailer of Uncharted4.  You have no idea what PS4 like hardware in a close environment can to do when coded to the metal.  This is one of the most sad and unispired thread since a very long time. BIG FAIL.

untill we see proper 4k games on the consoles you are mistaken.

That aside, it will take a lot less time to reach 100M this gen. You have the lower priced consoles to thank for it. And that MS is coming in second. MS is more willing to cut prices on their hardware when in a losing position, and that will only force sony's hand to cut too. So we end up with a price war (happened in gen 6). PS4 and XB1 are both currently a price drop or two from being at $299. I expect at least one of them to be at $299 by xmas 2015. And if one of them is going to be at $299 by that time, then both of them will cause no one can allow anyone that kinda price advantage going into a holiday season.

Consoles as we know them will change into a streaming like service, where you have your dedicated device, but at the same time can play on other devices as well. So it all depends on what you mean by consoles.

No they won't.  No matter how well the PS4 does, they will not wait more than 5-6 years to release its successor.  If the PS4 does well, then that just means it will be easier to sell the PS5.

You really have no clue about hardware, do you?

PS4 comparable GPU is overall in performance around 20x iPad Air and up to 60x in specific tests. Even with Tegra K1, which is around 2x A7 SoC in Air, mobile devices have just started reaching level of PS360.

I won't even bother to get into matter of devs pulling out of mobile market due to over-saturation and poor discovery.
