Where is resogun?
Do you think Sony needs more studios? | |||
| Yes, they definitely need more studios | 131 | 28.73% | |
| No, they have plenty of studios | 225 | 49.34% | |
| Neither because their stu... | 98 | 21.49% | |
| Total: | 454 | ||
The first flaw is, of course, downloadable games. They didn't have a fraction of the presence back then as now. Resogun, for example, is better than most of those first year PS3 exclusives. Not counting games like that is silly.
Secondly, and I'm always surprised at people who don't realize this, but quality games take time.
I will say it again, just because this is important: quality games take time.
Finally, staggering games over time is smart, especially when there are so many third-party games releasing, even if some people like to make lists of exclusives rather than of games they want to play.
Also, why can't you format worth a damn?

Let's not forget, the PS3 had many exclusives released in its final year. Once they get the ball rolling, the games will keep coming.

Damn! I thought it was 2014. I could've sworn i seen that is was releasing in 2014 somewhere

What do you mean by this? Are you saying they should release their games on non-Sony platforms??

I'm mainly talking about retail because there is a lesser chance of people buying a console for a downloadable game over a retail game. Quality games do take time but Sony was able to release quality games in-time back then so why isn't the same happening with PS4? what makes ou think they're staggering releases?
Also, i can play the majority of these multiplats on ps3 so that is why this thread is talking about PS4 exclusives.
And i'm on mobile. I can format on pc but cant on mobile. The last time i got on VGC via PC was like 2 or 3 years ago. The little editting tools hardly eork for me on mobile though.

I should have just said Microsoft needs to invest in more studios for more first party titles. Instead I opted for the vague "don't-wanna-sound-like-a-fanboy approach."

Theres nothing going at Sony, games take longer to develop and cost way more nowadays, every studio is developping AAAs at slower rates on this gem, this month fo June we dont even get an AAA game at all, not sure if we do get one in July from first, third partie or whatever.

They also earn much more.
Sony does need more studios, but less than MS or Nintendo, because PS4 is the main console for multiplatform anyway.
