I m guessing he means multi player co op (local not online) but that is just my take on it

It would be great to see a 2 player co-op, one controlls Link and the other controlls Zelda, each one with different weapons and abilities.

Sounds very interesting, but there is no chance that it will be implemented in the upcoming open world Zelda for several reasons.

You have to give credit to Aonuma though for his abilities to create headlines.

A waste of development time and resources if true, unless it is some four swords like spin-off.

interesting...im open to the idea. People complain all the tme about adding MP sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Give it a chance.

I think it could work if it was Dark Souls/Demon Souls esque, but straight up co op would seem weird to me...

Looking at the shadow link battles in albw (Which I managed to play through the entire game without experiencing)
maybe he'll add a multiplayer that's more along the lines of Dark Souls or Watchdogs. Another character could enter your game as shadow link to do no good and need defeating.
