Haven't read the article but if true that means nintendo will just be destroying another franchise.

I never take such ridiculously negative posts seriously. Which franchises has Nintendo "destroyed?"

Where in my post did i say it was only nintendo who destroyed the other franchises? I just said they will be destroying another one. And they will be. Nintendo doesn't do online multi-player well and Zelda is a single player game. It will end badly

The word "Another" implies they destroyed one in the past, I suggest you re-evaluate your grammar skills.

And how exactly is adding multiplayer to Zelda = destroying the franchise? The single player aspect will remain the same.

There was multiplayer in several past Zelda games, and they did not destroy the franchise, did they?

This guy once tried to make the argument to me that a business card is a valid form of ID, and the Gamestop manager who gave out a guy's personal info and dissed him in front of a crowd didn't deserve punishment. You're talking to a brick wall, dude.

Never said it was a valid ID and you should have no expectations of the info on a business card to be kept privately. Nice try. Next.

I've haven't played it online but on local Re5 mulitplayer was nice. The real problems of the game were elsewhere imo: a very plain game design (compared to its predecessor), the lack of any horror climate, also it was terribly short.

I played that game local with a friend over two days. Nice is generous way of putting it. I wouldn't describe it as good but it was enjoyable. Still, that game wasn't meant for multiplayer. Just like Zelda or GoW.

Ok, but have you played the Zelda game in NintendoLand? that thing is terribily fun. The ability to let a second player use the gamepad screen without the need to split the main screen could open up some interesting possibilities.

Neat! It will be awesome to see where this is going

Give examples to how it would ruin it pls? Also which franchise did Nintendo destroy already? Just to give you a heads up, Super Mario 3D World didn't ruin the franchise (first 3D Mario Platformer with Multiplayer)

Edit: Wow totally forgot LoZ already had a huge focus on multiplayer before and it was a very good game, so your post is irrelevant to the subject :-/

Let me first say that I doubt nintendo will be including this in its game so this conversation is on the basis that it is included (and has been from the start).

That being said, I have no faith in Nintendo concerning the Wii U right now. They don't seem to have an idea what they want to do with it from the start. If it's included then I don't think it will be incorporated well but just tacked on like the games I've already listed.

Ok, so you don't have faith Nintendo will put enough effort into this to make it work. That's fair enough.

Not necessarily effort because I could put a lot of effort in rocket science. Doesn't mean I'll understand it. No faith in Nintendo knowing the direction they want to take

Maybe he just means a new Four Swords Adventure type of game.

Yep.

Zelda looks like the Title I have to buy a Wii U for. I just hope the Wii U will be 199 by then.

It'd be cool, but I hope they know how they'll implement it in a game like this, rather than just adding it for the sake of having it.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
