Pokemon is actually the only Nintendo franchise I would consider to be very overrated! |
The anime is overrated, the games are still great :P

Eh.. I started to lose interest in the franchise after FR/LG.. I played HG/SS only because they were awesome remakes of the 2nd generation games!

CS and L4D are not made by Valve. Dota became THE e-sport but it was made by Icefrog as far as I know (the original one) they simply bought and expanded the IP. So yeah, when it comes down to gaming Valve is an overhyped, useless POS. Now when it comes to marketing... thats an entirely different story

Mincraft
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I skipped a few games, but I ended up buying a 3DS just for Pokemon so I still find it entertaining...they should add higher difficulties though, cause after a while it gets too easy and I agree, you start to lose interest.
Ocarina of Time. The Last of Us. Twilight Princess. Super Mario 3D World.
But above all else, Sonic Adventure 1+2.
For a Nintendo game I might say Twilight Princess, but that was only because it took so long to come out and I still loved it. For a non-Nintendo game I would say Halo 3 which they built up way too much particularly in regards to its story which they acted like it was going to be groundbreaking but ended up being painfully standard.
