If in 2015, COD, Madden, NBA live, NBA2k16, FIFA, PES, AC...etc are all exclusive, or even release for like 3-6 months first on the current gen consoles instead of simultaneous cross gen releases, the last gen will pretty much end there. And when looking at 2016, games like halo, uncharted, GT7, gears...etc are all exclusive to the current gen. And lastly, if you look at the sales numbers, the current gen consoles are currently doing better than their last gen counterparts were at the same time in their lives meaning they are selling better. That alone puts a hole in this corss gen adoption dilema theory of yours. Yes sales will be better if teher is zero support for last gen, but as it stands sales are better than it has ever been for either company coming into any new gen.
  2. Tablets and smartphones will canibalize the handheld market, no doubt about that. But PC gaming has no sway on console sales. They are just two very different markets. Besides, there has always been PCs during every single console generation. And PC hardware will never be as easy to get as console hardware. How many people do you know of that goes and buys a PC rig for someone for chrismas or on their birthday? And digital distribution works both ways.  Just know that PC gaming is not console gaming even though they are oth running the same games.
  3. That money thing doesnt work that way. Selling SQEX shares or not buying atlus or capcom doesn't mean you are financially unable to. It boils down to if you need them or not. And sony doesn't need to do that. As it stands sony has 19 sstudios accross the world developing games for the PS4. If only 15 of those studios in groups of 5 release games for the PS4 every other 3 years, then every single year they have 5 exclusive games on the PS4. I really don't see any of this as being in a financial bind.

The only thing Ill give you is if you want rechargable batteries you do have to spend 20 dollars. but you lied and said it was 25 dollars... man i dont even know why I quoted you. no logic or facts will make you change your mind. you have no idea what you are talking about and you are problably not even a gamer.

We don't know how much the Kinect actually costs. All we know is that it costs more than $100 since buying a system + a peripheral separately is always more expensive than buying a bundle that contains both products.

However, yeah, the value of the standalone X1 sucks. Heck, Walmart had a deal where you could buy the Forza 5 bundle for $429. That's $20 less than buying the standalone console and game (Forza 5 now costs $50 on Amazon). On top of that, you get the Kinect which gives the bundle great value.

There would be people complaing that the "underpowerfull" console should be $299 without Kinect that no one wants.

But man... 25 bucks for rechargable batteries? Why not 5 for rechargeable batteries? 

PS: I´m also using the same batteries I bought 5 years ago for my 360.

Yes only 7 months, but even MS agrees.  "History has shown us that the first company to reach 10 million in console sales wins the generation battle." Xbox is as done as done can be for the gen.

Its easy to be sure about NA, look at the 360/PS3 see the price they sold as and its rather easy to see Xbox One at 399 will fail in the face of the far superior PS4.

I get great pleasure seeing the averagefool consumer choose the best product at the best price thats best for them.  Not one that tried to erode their rights and options and freedoms.  Its a pleasure seeing something win for the right reasons and another fail for their nazi like drive to control and fuck over people.  None with any common sense would support MS after what they tried to do.

For you to truely believe that, you will have to say that you have never and will never purchase music/movies/tv/stream/video games digitally.  Any digital product purchased is DRM in some way.  No one (should) really argue that the PS4 is more powerful than the XB1.  With that said, I have yet to see one example of how that has mattered when it comes to gameplay.  Eventually we may see an example of this on a multiplat, but I doubt it. 

For all of the people talking up the idea that people are fools for buying an XB1 because M$ is the antichrist or something, it is a real laugher. When I see sony drop the price of the PS4 $100-$150 below cost, then I will know that they are doing it "for the People". That will never happen for obvious reasons. All of these companies are in it for making money. Take off the blinders and you will see that if the market has already accepted DRM in many forms. If there is another "nextgen" after this one, it will surely be DRM and Sony will be right there doing it "for the people" like everyone else.

PSN only has one paywall and that's playing multiplayer for paid games. However, you do not need to subscribe to PS+ to play F2P games, use Netflix, etc. While MS has removed some of the paywalls, there are still way too many. Not to mention, PS+ has much better value, especially for multi-Playstation console owners. I will agree though that the $200 pricepoint was totally random.

Wow crazy as it is no, not that im some anti drm conspiracy theorist.  Im just a console gamer.

Look anyone realistic know corps are in it to make money, but through consumer pressure they are forced to do whats not overy evil.  Sony did it with PS4 while MS did not with the X1, and historically MS is not exactly a "good guy" in a sea of mass corporate fucking of the world around them.  Conmpanies follow where the markets go, but its MS that wants to implement nazi controls on everything and they were quite open about it.

Um buddy its not a lie when the offical price from MS is 24.99, that the OFFICIAL price mmkay.  WHat you are posting is specific retailer discouted price.

AKA Xbox1 costs 499 or 399 but you can find em Cheaper 20 off here and there, those are retailer discounts.  But official price is what it is mmmkay bud, get it now ???
