Any digital product purchased is DRM in some way. No one (should) really argue that the PS4 is more powerful than the XB1. With that said, I have yet to see one example of how that has mattered when it comes to gameplay. Eventually we may see an example of this on a multiplat, but I doubt it. For all of the people talking up the idea that people are fools for buying an XB1 because M$ is the antichrist or something, it is a real laugher. When I see sony drop the price of the PS4 $100-$150 below cost, then I will know that they are doing it "for the People". That will never happen for obvious reasons. All of these companies are in it for making money. Take off the blinders and you will see that if the market has already accepted DRM in many forms. If there is another "nextgen" after this one, it will surely be DRM and Sony will be right there doing it "for the people" like everyone else. |
Wow crazy as it is no, not that im some anti drm conspiracy theorist. Im just a console gamer.
Look anyone realistic know corps are in it to make money, but through consumer pressure they are forced to do whats not overy evil. Sony did it with PS4 while MS did not with the X1, and historically MS is not exactly a "good guy" in a sea of mass corporate fucking of the world around them. Conmpanies follow where the markets go, but its MS that wants to implement nazi controls on everything and they were quite open about it.
