Forums - Gaming - EA bringing FIFA 15 to Wii and 3DS, skips Wii U again

It's not strange.

They have an agenda.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Nintendo should just refuse to let them release this on the Wii and the 3DS. But only tell them after they made the game, so they lose some money in the process.

I like the way you think, friend :D

EA being EA.

Nothing to see here.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

That would be smart in what way? They do get royalties from those games you know? But the non consoles version are probably re-skinned Legacy editions anyways :P

EA just wants to be cool and have the last game on every console now. Seriously. There's NO reason for a Fifa 15 on Wii. Last few Fifas have been exactly the same on Wii except for player changes. Aka, EA wants to be the cool company who gets the last game.

They also hate the PSP and DS apparently.

They might release those as well!

I wonder if they have the mindset that if they put it on the Wii, it is also on the Wii U through the backward compatibility and then they feel they shouldn't wast money on two ports... But it's EA and I stopped buying their games a long time ago.

Well, you can still play Wii games on your Wii U. Wii U owners can still play it and Wii owners aren't excluded now, and they don't have to run the risk of the Wii U's low installbase. And the 3DS of course has a nicely sized installbase.

It's not too hard to guess why they did this, to be honest.

Least we have backwards compatibility loll

But seriously, this is not even the least bit surprising
