You miss the point. The best is subjective when it comes to game A or B appealing to different tastes and audiences.

But I'm not considering my tastes when assessing the E3. I'm just focusing on objective parameters like a full game being more relevant than a DLC. I don't need to tell everything all over again. I've already listed all the points. I'm acting as a neutral spectator rather than a game consumer with my own preferences.

This though, is what I mean.  Comparing game to DLC is pretty easy, but what about game to game?  What decides which is more relevant?  How are they more relevant?  Sales wise?  Being "revolutionary"?  Being a "good game"?

Some things are easy, then it becomes harder and harder until you get into a point when you say "now I will consider all games equal".

For example, full game > DLC, easy to understand. Brand new announcement > game already announced but not yet launched > game already launched on other platforms, easy to understand too. Gameplay demo > trailer > teaser, easy to understand. AAA games > indie or retro games. And so forth...

Then, among new announcements, you can take it as more relevant a brand new IP (like Splatoon) or a sequel from a game launched many years ago (like Rainbow Six Siege) than, for instance, a game launched every year (like FIFA) or every 2/3 years (like Uncharted or LittleBigPlanet). Or you can regard more a game that everybody thought to be death than other that everybody already expects, despite none of them to be new announcements. For example, a gameplay demo of The Last Guardian or The Getaway 3 + a release date would definitely be more relevant than what was showed about The Order 1886.

I would stop here and consider from now on all games in the same circumstances to be equal (in order to keep a neutral position). But it's possible to go further and, like you suggested, look at critic scores and sales from previous games from the same series and, in case of a new IP, from the same dev.

Anyway, regardless how deep your analysis is, as long as you remain neutral and objective, Ubisoft is clearly ahead of Sony on this E3. Only a fanboy thinking "I don't care, that Uncharted 4 teaser compensates everything" could tell Sony was superior.

No they never, no indie or third party support..look at the games coming to ps4 and x1 compared the wii-u...people want multiplats not just exclusives. 1-2 good exclusives are year don't cut it.

We all knew that already before E3. I think you are assessing the consoles rather than the conferences. In order to assess E3 you need to think: which company added up more value to its products' portfolio from 9th to 11th June?

But anything that Nintendo had was the same thing each generation...

??? What?

The Meme Memo hasn't been updated yet, so folks are still reading from the old script. Take pity on him until then.

Nintendo's conference was amazing but it is missing a lot of major multiplatform games that we were promised to have since launch

Yeah they won but do you have to badmouth Sony? Uncharted and BloodbornE are both set to be great games. That being said the game libary you have on Wii u right now is the best and the future also looks really good, just be happy with that, you're not gonna trick anyoen else into to thinking they're games aren't also amazing/ something to look forward to.

I think I do. Sony has many and good studios. If each a every one of them doesn't show something new and relevant at least every 2 years, then they are either wasting resources or not spending them at all. Either way, that's censurable.

What justifies a win? Popular opinion? If so, then yes they definitely won. Unfortunately, 90% of the games they revealed aren't even coming out this year, and their sales will suffer greatly for it. Not to mention, hardly any of the 3rd parties even mentioned Wii U as a platform for their games. They may have won the mind share of the E3 audience, but that's not gonna be enough to help them in the long run or the short term for that matter.

Maybe not enough but at least they are trying very hard to appeal to gamers again. They made a good effort and they showed its results on E3. Will the games take some time to be launched? Yes they will, that's natural and it may not benefit Nintendo in the very short-term like you said. But they will eventually come and, E3 wise, Nintendo was superior to Sony and Microsoft. I wish they had the same attitude as Nintendo is having now (probably forced due to bad results, but they're showing it).

Because Uncharted 4 was the only thing that was exciting at Sony's show right?

Can we quantify the titles?  Make a score and see how everything adds up.  If what you say is "objectively" true, then Ubisoft should come out with a higher score.

Uncharted 4 was just an example. What I was trying to tell was that, unless one values more a certain Sony game (or several ones) more than Ubisoft games without an objective reason in a wise analysis (meaning that it's just tastes making the difference), there is no way Sony had a better E3.

Yes you can quantify the titles as long as you don't consider 3rd party games as Sony's work and you don't mix oranges with apples (for instance, DLCs don't count as much as full games).

all surprisingly manged to win.

MS won on improving and actually being likeable
Sony won on scope, 3rd partys exclusives indies hardware services
Ninty won on pleasing their fanboys more then ever

Yes, I think Nintendo "won" E3, but, to be honest, no one had a very impressive showing. This was one of the most disappointing and boring E3 shows I've seen.

Nintendo kind of won by default by keeping the running time short, demonstrating a sense of humor, and showing a lot of gameplay.
