You miss the point. The best is subjective when it comes to game A or B appealing to different tastes and audiences.

But I'm not considering my tastes when assessing the E3. I'm just focusing on objective parameters like a full game being more relevant than a DLC. I don't need to tell everything all over again. I've already listed all the points. I'm acting as a neutral spectator rather than a game consumer with my own preferences.

This though, is what I mean.  Comparing game to DLC is pretty easy, but what about game to game?  What decides which is more relevant?  How are they more relevant?  Sales wise?  Being "revolutionary"?  Being a "good game"?

Some things are easy, then it becomes harder and harder until you get into a point when you say "now I will consider all games equal".

For example, full game > DLC, easy to understand. Brand new announcement > game already announced but not yet launched > game already launched on other platforms, easy to understand too. Gameplay demo > trailer > teaser, easy to understand. AAA games > indie or retro games. And so forth...

Then, among new announcements, you can take it as more relevant a brand new IP (like Splatoon) or a sequel from a game launched many years ago (like Rainbow Six Siege) than, for instance, a game launched every year (like FIFA) or every 2/3 years (like Uncharted or LittleBigPlanet). Or you can regard more a game that everybody thought to be death than other that everybody already expects, despite none of them to be new announcements. For example, a gameplay demo of The Last Guardian or The Getaway 3 + a release date would definitely be more relevant than what was showed about The Order 1886.

I would stop here and consider from now on all games in the same circumstances to be equal (in order to keep a neutral position). But it's possible to go further and, like you suggested, look at critic scores and sales from previous games from the same series and, in case of a new IP, from the same dev.

Anyway, regardless how deep your analysis is, as long as you remain neutral and objective, Ubisoft is clearly ahead of Sony on this E3. Only a fanboy thinking "I don't care, that Uncharted 4 teaser compensates everything" could tell Sony was superior.
